Hello everyone,

I am not sure if this is the correct forum for this question but thought it
might be a good place to start.

We have 1 xp pro machine that will not open a particular website.

hosts file is clean
AV is up to date and clean
Have run Spysweeper and cleaned everything
have flushed the dns on local machine.

I can do a dns lookup on the site and it resolves the correct address.

I have tried multiple browsers still with out any luck. It comes back with
a generic message "page cannot be displayed"

Any direction would be appreciated.

Try to contact the webmaster from that site. Your IP may be blocked for some reason.

It works fine from every other machine on the network. We are all NAT'd
behind the firewall.

Thank you,

If its supposed to be working because it can ping then that makes there is a
security setting, probably firewall blocking it. Is there special rules on
your out packets at this computer?
