Hey there,
Had and interesting thing happen to me today. I set up XP Pro's version of
terminal server on my home computer. It connects to the internet on
dial-up. I have a means to find my home computers's IP address through the
internet so I used my LAN connection at the office to initiate a remote
connection to it through the internet.
Upon connecting, it asked me for my user name and password. I set up a
special account on my home computer using Computer Management specifically
for this remote connection. I logged in and a message was returned saying
"The owner was already connected to the console and would be disconnected."
or something like that. I said ok and everything died. I lost my
connection and my computer is no where to be found on the net.
Do I need to use the same profile as the current connection? How can I just
get connected without killing all the processes currently running?
Any help would be mucho appreciado.
