XP Pro/Home & Active Directory

Can some one please get me a straight answer or tell me
where to look?

We have a tech company selling teh mgt on new PC's
and "forcing" them to go with XPP. What I have learned is
that security issues is the only differnce of matter on
the two. The tech company says that XP Home WILL NOT
support any active directory networking.

In our office, there is no net security to start out with
& we are only 20 systems large. A small office by all
accounts. Active directory is not for small offices
(according to info from teh MS web site).

I want to know if we are getting shafted or if the tech
co is right.

The key for you will be to know what kind of networking and access control
you want. Without XPP, you will be missing several needed controls to limit
the users, and features to include offline files, IIS, and the ability to
join a domain.
