XP Pro Drag and drop problem

I had a problem with a non-system disk filling up. All restore points
were deleted, and an odd problem started with explorer. When I use
explorer to copy/move files from one folder to another a dialog box
pops up wanting to install Roxio! The copy/move completes properly
after I cancel the install. I have re-installed/repaired XP and the
problem still exists. My guess is that the association between
dropping a file on a folder and the copy function is corrupt. Any
suggestions on what I can do to fix this. I would like to avoid the
format/re-install option.

suggest posting the same question here:

If it were my machine, I'd uninstall Roxio, and then reinstall. But, before
doing that, there may be answers in that forum.

I forgot to mention that i have uninstalled Roxio.

Hmmm. This non-system disk - is it an internal hard drive? Were you using
Roxio for doing backups, or other purpose?

Download and use the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility. Select the Roxio
entry in the list it will create.
