I have been having intermittent system reboots in the middle of normal pc
usage. When the system recovers after reboot it states that I should tell
MS about this so I let it create and send the report. It always says that a
device driver is at fault but it doesn't tell me which one.
Is there any way to determine which device driver it (the report) is
referring to?

Thanks,
Walter

Use you administrative tools in the control panel, select event view.
This tool creates log files of all kinds of system actions.

I have also had these crashes and trawled through Event Viewers, Google and
countless other means to find a solution. It actually turned out to be a
knackered hard drive, so I'm wondering if Microsoft put the driver error
message on every reply.

I am having the same problem and I saw the responses to
your request. One response was to check the window's log.
The other response said it was his hard drive failing.
What I wanted to know have you found out anything new on
this problem?
If so please email me at (e-mail address removed)
Thany You,
John
