I am wasting too much time lately playing Solitaire and
want to be able to remove it permanently (I know how to
do it through Control Panel, but it is too easy to re-
install it....).

I hate to be a wuss, but removing the temptation is the
best option for me at this point. I was able to hack the
Registry (under careful supervision, of course) to remove
these games from Windows 2000 Pro, but I now have Windows
XP Pro.

Hi Greg,

Uninstall them and then have someone change your account
to a limited user account and password protect your only
administrator account. That will prevent you from having
the ability to reinstall those games without their assistance.
