Butch

I recently installed WindowsXP Pro w/SP 1a. I have a LAN,
with 2 PCs connected in my home office. Both have dial-up
internet connections of their own. Here's the problem: At
random times, but every day, the XP machine boots while
unattended. I come home from work, and there it sits
running, not connected to the internet. Has me a little
worried that someone may be accessing it remotely. Any
ideas what program or problem could be causing this.
Thanks

Check your BIOS settings for start up upon modem detection of incoming
call.
