I have been piloting Defender on our corporate laptops, but am annoyed be the
frequent message that the installer cannot verify that the OS is genuine.
The problem is that the computers use our WSUS to update and don't get the
Genuine Advantage Tool download. This is also due to the fact that I use one
installer for all the machines, rather than download it over and over again.
What I end up having to do is go to the Windows Update site just to have the
tool install.
There either needs to be a corporate installer that does away with this
issue or the installer should not require validation for XP Pro and/or VL
users.
