XP Pro and Office 2003 on the same machine - requirements

I'm a high school tech. We have some older computers teachers want upgraded.
I can find page on the Microsoft site that outline the minimum and
recommended hardware specs for Office 2003 and Windows XP Pro. Can anyone
point me to a resource that shows what hardware we really should have to run
both on the same box?

Arrrgh - those two URLs both say that the min. required is 128MB. While
you can,
maybe, run XP and Off2003 on a 128MB PC, it will be a total slug. I
find that
256MB is the bare minimum for a tolerable XP PC with Office.
