XP Pro and Home re-install

After re-installation of both on seperate units neither would give me a
connection to Internet. Also re-installed utilities CD. All other functions
work and ISP will not configure. I am on FIoS, also tried dial-up, no luck.
Anybody?

You must have the proper drivers for your hardware (Network Card, Modem,
Chipset (in case you connect via USB) etc...)
Then you simply follow the instructions given by your ISP (Internet Service
Provider.)
