Windows XP XP Pro Activation Problems

I activated WinXP Pro by phone, since then, every time I boot up I am asked to re-activate, I click OK, I am then told that XP is already activated and my machine then proceeds to close down.
Has any of our members come across this before and if so what is the solution.
The Windows XP Pro is a genuine copy complete with COA
 
Did you get to speak to a real person, or just the auto-response ?
