Hi there,

I have a disk for XP Plus! Games. Sorry to say I didn't keep a back-up copy
of it. Unfortunately the disk has cracked across the centre rendering it
useless. I discovered this after I reformatted my hard drive. Now I
discover that Microsoft no longer sell it as Vista has arrived and all their
XP products have been removed from store shelves. I do not wish to use Ebay
for many reasons, so what options do I have to obtain a new disk?

Suggestions much appreciated. I miss my Russian Squares! Thanks in
advance.

Lynn

Hi Lynn,

I don't know how much help this may be, but they are suggestions:
- You could always use your local trading newspaper for second hand items
- It may be in the 'quick sale' area of a computer store
- Ebay (I know you said you didn't want to use it) would probably still be
the easiest
- Call up some stores in the phone directory and see if any have some in stock
- Do a google search of the product you're looking for, see where else you
can get it (either buying over the internet or in person)

Hope I gave you some ideas,
RV

Hi again,

Thanks for the tips. I'd already done a Google search, checked out numerous
web sites and phoned local larger stores as well as visiting and scouring
around Microsoft's site. All to no avail. I'll keep on looking. Any other
suggestions are much appreciated.

One other thing I wondered about. Has anyone information on whether
Microsoft might issue this as a download or whether it could be available as
part of a Vista package? I'm on XP.

Thanks again!

Lynn
