I have 2 machines setup peer to peer with a crossover
cable. 1 named server the other station. When I browse I
can see both machines but I can only connect from server
to station. When I try to connect from station to server
I get an error saying I may not have sufficent rights to
do this? Any thoughts?

I had a similar problem and found that I did not have the
same protocols set up on both computers. Both had TCP/IP
set up but one had NWLink (somehow it was installed
during an upgrade from W98 to XP). As soon as I installed
NWLink on the other computer, I no longer received that
error message and the two communicate fine. The key is to
make sure that EVERYTHING (protocols, workgroup, etc.) is
set up the same on both computers.

Both are running IP. The machine that I am having issues
with did have Norton firewall which was removed, plus it
had Wechia virus which was cleared up and istalled MS
patch for the ports.
