BehindTheAsterisks. BTA won't work for this...
try this instead:
at the welcome/login screen, try hitting ctril+alt+delete and see if
you can get a username and password prompt to pop up. if you do, enter
"Administrator" for login and leave the password blank.
this has actually allowed me to gain access to some of my client's
accounts where they have forgotten their admin password. but this only
works if no password was entered for the "Administrator" account when
xp was installed. i know that sounds lame, but i've found it to work
quite often.
