XP opens Explorer to folder System32 on log in

Every time I log into my user account in XP windows opens
explorer to the System32 folder. I know there's a text
file to modify to prevent this. Can anyone tell me how to
stop XP from opening explore when I log in? It's a pain
to close it EVERY time I log in.
