Recently, I switched to a cable, (high speed), provider. Since then my box has slowed to a crawl, (whether going from link to link, or even things that do not involve the cable access. What could be the problem? Is there a compatabilty issue I was unaware of?

It could be a few things
1. Your internet cache is full or getting full.
2. You have spyware/adware on your computer.
3. Could be alot of other things
Goto Tools in IE, then click internet Options,
Under Temerary internet Files Press Delete.
Then Click setting, goto edit, click select all,
right click on the highlighted entries in the main window and select delete.
Restart your browser. ( You may have to restart your computer.)

For spyware and adware you can download Spybot Search and Destroy and or
Adaware. Both you can get at www.cnet.com free. You may have to set them to
run on restart one at a time but just run them normal and see what happens
first.

Hope this helps
