Sure do, the Geode Proc works great on XPe. Note that some of their
*multimedia* drivers weren't in the XP build when it shipped, so you may
need to download componentized versions of the audio/video drivers from Brad
Combs' site www.xpefiles.com. Or you can easily componentize them yourself,
but the proc itself requires nothing special, "it just works" <grin>
The first XPe project that we took on was based on the Geode platform. There
are quite a few boards out there based on this processor. If you need
drivers there are some available on www.xpefiles.com. They work for some of
the Geode boards, but not all. There are drivers available from NS, but I'm
not sure if you have to sign an NDA or not. HTH,
Yes. It works well. The only headache is getting udma
drivers for it's IDE. I gave up trying. IDE performance
is not critical for us.
