Please can someone help, i get a black screen with the text "we apologise for the inconvenience but windows did not start successfully. A recent hardware or software change might have caused this" this screen also shows various 'safe mode' restart options etc...none of which work, i have the genuine 'Emachine Win XP recovery discs' but am loathed to reinstall as we have many precious memories on the 'c' drive. Is there any way i can get my comp to work long enough to back this data up before potentially losing it all.
