Machine A (XP Pro) - can be configured any way you like, it stays at
home.
Machine B (2000 Pro) - (laptop) used in office on 2k (mixed) domain.
When A access B - no problems, shares folders all OK
When B access A - no logon server is available.
Have tried changing B to a workgroup (not acceptable long term but for
test) - same result ! - yes I'm sure it was changed.
Workgroup and Domain are same.
NetBios over TCP/IP on both machines
Same user account and pass on both machines.
Machine A has XP firewall turned off
Have messed with this for three hours - killling me!
Any ideas appreciated. Pse forward repsonses to email also -in case I
don't get back here.
Many thanks,
