I can't see a newsgroup for Windows XP networking, other than Netherlands
(nl) and Japan (jp) and -web.

Is this newsgroup appropriate for LAN queries with XP machines?

Why not use the XP newsgroup "microsoft.public.windowsxp.network_web" and
see what happens?
