Hi,
I'm running a Windows Xp network with 4 machines all running XP sp2 and
all connected to a router via cables. The router is connected to the
internet and all four machines can access the internet no problem.
The trouble is I have a shared folder(FAT32) on one of the machines that
two of them can't access and when I try to set up a network place or map
a drive to that particular comptuer doesn't appear on the network list.
I can ping localhost on all four machines and machine A(sharing
folder) can ping machines B but vice versa doesn't work but machine B
can still access the folder. Machines C + D can't ping A but all have an
ip address allocated to them of 192.168.1.10/12/13/15. They are all on
the mshome network and net view will work on machines a and b but c and
d do't see a thing.
Can anyone point me in the right direction or offer any advice?
Thanks,
Andrew
