We have a client-server network. There are XP Pro, WIN 98
and ME machines in the workgroup. The problem is between
the XP machines and everyone else. If the XP machines log
off and then on again, they can see and connect to
everyone on the network. But after a short period of
time, the XP machines can only connect to each other and
not the other computers (a guest logon box appears). I
have disabled the internet firewall in the XP computers
and selected to have NETBIOS over TCP/IP. Is there
something on the server that needs to be selected or
changed? Can anyone help? We are really frustrated!!
