just watch the bios screen as your machine is booting up

Try downloading and running AIDA32. It give some fairly good detail on
installed memory.

Good program. All though it incorrectly thinks my system should handle
Win2k. Tried that. Never gets past the first boot screen due to an old
BIOS chip. Upgrading chip cause the original OS to not load. Go
figure.
