Until a short time ago, I was able us MY TV in the media center to watch
local television via a regular antenna connection. Then, all of a sudden, I
receive a Video Error message (Files needed to display video are missing or
corrupt. ... restart media center .... restart computer .... else consult
help). Did all of this, no results. I checked all the cables and
connections, and all seems to be well. Called my hardware vendor (Sony) who
made me uninstall and re-install the video driver of the computer - no
results. I unloaded all software that could possibly conflict - no results.
Any idea what I could do short of re-doing my whole computer (which is soooo
much trouble).
Really appreciate your help.
Just another thought: Mediacenter Edition is not worth the money if you have
a slow dial up connection, because things don't work very well because of
slow connections.
