I have 2 domain servers setup on a windows 2K server system. I have
recently switched my clients to XP. We have serveral logon scripts
that we run that not longer work. What is Mean by this is that when
you boot up the XP client It never processes the logon script that is
assigned to it in the "AD Users and Computer" but then if you do a
logoff and log back on everything works fine.

Were the scripts recently added? This could be a result of "fast logon
optimization". Take a look at the following article for an explanation of
this behavior.

No these are not new scripts. The XP machines are new. I just
upgraded the rest of my clients from 95 and 2000 to XP Pro. I have
seen the Q article that you quoted and will give it a try. I have
talked to a few other people on that article and there were mixed
feelings on whether that was the issue or not. I will let you know if
it fixed the problem or not. Why would this only be affecting half of
my XP boxes and not the other half??

Thanks Tim
