Windows XP pro locks up (freezes) when I turn on my
hp6300c flatbed scanner.
This scanner has been working fine for over a year, and no
Windows XP claims that the drivers are not approved?

Anyone with the same problem, and possible solutions?

I went to HP and downloaded their XP drivers, but they
will not work either.

Thanks

Walter

I have this scanner for a little six months.
It was allways working perfect.
But since about two weeks ago starting with internet, it
is not the same anymore.
Than I begin to load the scannerverse from CD.
First it wanted to work again, but now it's getting worse.
Even loading from the CD will not let it work as usual.
Hope you are famous with this problem so you might help
me out of it.
It is a USB-scanner.
My printer, also connected on this USB-computer/exit is
working, but have had some problems too.
I wish you all the best, so you can find out what problem
it is!

You'll have to be more specific as to what the problem is exactly, what kind
of scanner, what you have done to fix the problem, etc. With no
information, you are unlikely to get any helpful suggestions.
