XP Key

Hi,

While installing XP Pro on my laptop, the technician accidentally used the
wrong Product key. Instead of the one he was supposed to use (the one issued
at work) he used a VLK which is already blocked. Now I'm having problems
downloading updates i.e. updgrading from IE 6 to IE 7 because the site is
saying that my OS is using a key that's blocked.

Is there a way for me to change this key and use the right License without
reinstalling the whole thing?

Would really appreciate any help I can get.
