XP Keeps Rebooting

When I load my Windows XP Upgrade, it loads a bunch of
files, and then reboots the pc. It then boots from the cd
and tries to do the same process over again. Why does it
keep asking to boot from the cd? Shouldn't it recognize
that it's loaded the files already?

After it copies the files to the drive and restarts do not press any keys
when prompted. Just let the boot process time out - about 5 seconds - then
it will pass to the hard drive and setup will begin using the setup files
copied earlier to the hard drive. You still have to leave the CD in the
drive though.

Harry's suggestion is the way to go. However, to get past this on one
system that I had, I had to enter BIOS on that initial reboot and switch
back to boot from hard drive. If I didn't do that, Windows setup would
start all over from the very beginning.
