XP is deleting Access files

Hello, for some reason i'm unable to save any Microsoft Access files into any
folder on my computer. They show in the folder for a few seconds and then
just disappear. It only happens with Access files and I'm thinking it's
possibly a security issue, but not sure why it's just this file type and not
others? Thanks,

Use Filemon from SysInternals on the target filename when you save to
that target filename. You can then see who deleted the file just
after you saved it. Of course, if it were deleted, then it should
show up in the Recycle Bin (if you did not disable it).
