XP & iomaga zip drive

I was helping a friend with his laptop XP home, he tryed
installing a zip drive he loaded the drivers from the CD
that came with the zip drive. now the system wont load
XP. all the get is a black screen and blinking curser.
i'v tryed last know and safe mode. any ideas?
 
Do a System Restore to before the incident.

Download & install the latest software from www.iomega.com

Be aware that some people have reported problems using the 100Mb
external zip drive on XP
