Upon installation I get an erro stating "An error Occured
copying File "what ever" press enter to try again. I hit
enter and it acts like it took it but then when I restart
it says files are missing. So at that point I have not os
to restart into. What can I do.

What are the file names? Certain names can indicate particular problems.
Many of these are documented in the Microsoft Knowledge Base
(http://support.microsoft.com/).

Examples: There may be too many loose documents in the My Documents folder
to successfully migrate the user's data. Dividing these files into subfolders
within My Documents is the workaround. Failure of other files to copy can mean
anything from a bad burn of XP, a hardware problem or a driver problem.

Running the Upgrade Advisor located on the XP CD can be helpful in tracking
down software and hardware problems that have the potential to
complicate the installation of XP.
