xp install

Hi i would like to find out when i install xp pro how can i get the drives
that i want on the screen so as i can select witch drive it goes on,when i
place cd in the drive,have done it before but i have forgoton
Thanks for any help

When you do the install you will be given the choice of where you want
to install XP.

Hi andy,

I don't think you are using an original windows cd by meaning i think you
have one that has declarations done in WINNT.SIF
If you want to change the cd yourself this is the data to change in the
WINNT.SIF
[Data]
AutoPartition=0

[Unattended]
FileSystem=*

(btw if you don't know what i'm talking about i would propose to just use an
other cd)

Then either you are doing something wrong or you have a "restore disk"
which isn't a real operating system install cd. You will either have to
supply more information if you want help from this newsgroup or take
the machine to a professional computer repair shop (not your local
version of BigStoreUSA).
