For RAID, SCSI, and SATA drives the user must provide XP with a drive very
early during the installation process, or it will fail to find the disk.
Within minutes (or less) of beginning the installation, it should flash a
short message about pressing F6 for SCSI or RAID. Do it. Be sure to have a
floppy disk with the correct drivers and driver setup file. This is usually
obtained from the motherboard maker. However, the required files might be
on a CDROM, with many other drivers and software. You have to transfer the
files to a floppy, as a CD will not work.
