XP in Windows 98 network

I am trying to connect a windows XP machine to our existing 98 peer-to-peer network with no success so far. I ran the networking wizard in XP and created a new workgroup and did the same in one of the 98 pc and they still dont see each other. Anyone can give an idea on this or lead me to the right tech source.
