I usually use ghost to create and roll out client computers. I want to setup
a windows deployment solution and use the PXE network boot to roll out the
OS to the new computers.
I setup Windows Deployment Server on a Windows2k3 server, and installed
Windows XP and applications on the laptop that I wish to duplicate. Normally
I would run sysprep then create a ghost image at this point.
How do I create an image (I assume WMI file) and copy it over to the server?
When I boot a new laptop & select PXE, will the new laptop detect the WDS
and begin the install?
I tried to sysprep the system and restart with PXE option to create the
image, but the system just goes into windows setup.
Any help is appriciated.
Thanks
