XP, IE and Internet

I have a problem accessing Internet. I can trouble-free use Kazaa,
Overnet, DAP and other similar programs. But I can't use for example
Internet Explorer (v6) or Outlook. I even tried Mozilla but it was no
use. The only way for me to surf is by using the Overnet's build-in
http viewer. What may be the reason? It looks like Windows's internet
connection isn't configured well. What settings should I check?

I'd get rid of the spyware on your computer. Try Spybot Search and Destroy
or Adaware. Your browser may have been hijacked. I also would ensure virus
definitions are up to date.
