XP + IE 7.0 = always only download 74.x kb

Dear All

I am now using WINXP /w ie7.0. In fact, I used this combination for a short
period and everything were fine.

But recently, I reinstalled my PC due to HD failure. I found that when I
request download application through ie 7.0, it will only download 74.x kb
of the target file and it told me that the download is 100% completed.

Any idea on this? Please comment. Thanks in advance.

Did you installed all the motherboard drivers from the manufacturer website!
Also you may be experiencing a Temp folder corruption. So try to locate the
Temp folder to another location and run disk cleanup then this command:
sfc /scannow
Reboot and try to relocate the temp folder back to its default directry.
