CAN ANYBOODY HELP ME I WOULD LIKE TO PUT A EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE ON MY COMPUTER
HOW DO I KNOW IT WILL BE COMPATIBLE WIT XP HOME I ALSO WOULD LIKE TO PUT A
BETTER SOUND CARD IN MY SYSTEM HOW CAN I MAKE SURE IT WILL BE COMPATTIBLE

Read the info on the box....it will state the system requirements: what operating
systems and hardware are compatible.

Most new hardware currently for sale in computer supply shops will be compatible
with XP Home or Pro.

Please turn off the CAPS LOCK key.
 
Hi - simple, If this is XP compatible ( check the box - most are xp
compatible ) - just plug it in and discard the cd that comes with it for a
moment - it will work without the cd. You can always do a windows update and
check for new drivers after you plug it in if need be.
