Hi,

I have a customer with 2 P3 systems running XP home that is fully patched
and they both use Microsoft wireless desktop 1000 mouse and keyboard sets.
Both mouse and keyboards will just stop working for no apparent reason. They
can be freed up by disconnecting the USB reciever for a few second or two
and reconnecting. All is then OK until the next time!

Any idea's would be much appreciated

There are some new Intellipoint drivers on the Microsoft Downloads page..
worth a try

Are they in close proximity of each other - if so, see if one can be
switched to an alternate channel from the other, they may be interfering
with each other. I and my wife initially had this same issue on our
Logitech cordless desktops, until I figured out how to swap the channel on
both my keyboard and mouse to channel 2, and hers stays on channel 1.
