Help please. Windows keeps shutting down unexpectedly. I was able to get to
the event viewer at one time and based on what was recorded, Will D advised
me to uninstall and reinstall Zone Alarm - that I did. However, after
running a virus scan (none found) I attempted to run AdAware and during this
the computer stopped again without warning and rebooted. As the day passed
by, my computer would boot up but when entering my password to log into
Windows it (the computer) immediately shutdown and then rebooted. From then
on in, the computer seemed to be in a boot then shutdown cycle and not
letting me into Windows at all. A heat problem? Or anyone else got an idea
how to trouble shoot this and correct the "problem"?
TIA

From what I have heard about it this sounds like the
MSBlaster virus. If you can get onto the internet from
you need to download a patch for this. microsoft do have
a page on this that tells you what to do.

I Hope this helps.
