Greetings --
Yes, you should be able to perform an upgrade using an NFR
edition. (At least, I've always been able to do so, so far.)
There are, however, no iron-clad, 100% guarantees when it comes to
updating any kind of computer software, much less an operating system.
WinXP is designed to install and upgrade the existing operating system
while simultaneously preserving your data and translating as many
personalized settings as possible. The process is designed to be, and
normally is, quite painless. That said, things can go wrong, in a
small number of cases. If your data is at all important to you, back
it up before proceeding.

Hi, I'm currently a user of XP Home and I have an unopened copy of
the XP Pro Full NFR Version. I want to install it, but I don't want
to reinstall all my programs. Will this version require me to do so?
