I've got a home network running with 2 computers running
2000 and one running XP. They are connected via a
router. All can connect to the internet just fine and the
2000 computers can see each other and share resources just
fine, but i'm having trouble sharing resources to/from the
XP box. The IP's, names and workgroup are as they should
be on all boxes.
Here's the strange thing, I can ping the 2000 boxes from
the XP box but can't ping the XP box from the 2000 boxes.
I had Norton Internet security installed on the XP box at
one point but got rid of it because it was annoying. Did
it leave something residual on my computer that isn't
letting the XP box talk on the LAN properly?
Help would be much appreciated!!!
