xp home search

my xp home
search for files etc freezes as soon as i click search now.
i tried the fix from ms and already have sp1 installed.
when trying to install the srchasst.inf file i am asked to insert the
windows xp disk labled "Windows XP Home Edition" but when i insert the disk
it shows that it is labled as "XRMHOEM_EN and so i cant complete the install
and my search still doesnt work ...
any ideas

Forsake XP built-in search, in favor of the free Agent Ransack. Works well...

however been a man that has to know how everything works etc etc
would you be able to tell me why my xp disc is labled XRMHOEM_EN, instead of
windows xp home edition.
could it be that the shop installed xp from a different disc to the one they
gave me when i bought my pc?
