XP Home Repair

I'm trying to run the Repair option on my installation of Windows XP Home. I
follow the instructions on how to run it, but when the instructions say to
make sure my installation is selected after the Agreement screen I get the
partition selection screen. I never get a screen showing currecnt
installations of XP. When I try the Recovery Console option, it finds the
installation. Why don't I get the screen to repair? Please help.
 
Thank you, I followed those instructions, but I still don't get the screen
listing the current installations of XP to choose one to repair. Why is
this?
