O Old Geek Dec 1, 2003 #3 Settings in the bios will bypass the switch. To the OP.. Look at your bios settings for things like wake on LAN (if you have a net card) or wake on ring (if you have a built in modem) Also, my computer bios allows me to choose a time for automatic startup. Yours may also.
