XP Home OS - duplex scanner suggestions for document management

I am looking for suggestions for a scanner to use with XP Home that has
_auto doc feed_ and _duplex_ ability. Speed isn't important but quality of
output and ability to work well with XP is a very important factor.

I have MS Office PRO 2003, Adobe Acrobat 5 Pro and Abbyy Transformer Pro 2
already installed so the software package isn't terribly important. Main
concern is that it interacts well with XP Home OS.

Mary, this article is a comparison between 15 different higher-end
models. It's a little old by modern standards but is the most well
written and many of the scanners are still available.

If you're shopping based on price, the Xerox mentioned is probably
your best bet for under $1,000.
