XP Home networking with 2000

I can see the 2000 machine with the xp home machine and
vice versus, but I can't access either machine.
Everything is set up the same as on my xp pro machine and
it still doesn't work. I need help.

How are seeing one machine from the other? What exactly do you see?

How are you trying to access one machine from the other? What exactly
happens when you do it? What is the complete text of the error
messages?

The more details you give, the more likely it is that someone can
