XP Home & limited account

I have Windows XP Home & on the accounts that are set as "limited" I get the
error document failed to print when I try to print something. On my account
which is administrator I can print. The only choices with XP Home are limited
or administrator. My questions are:
1) is the reason for not printing due to the account being assigned "limited"
2) if so -is there any way around it to allow them to print - I'd rather not
change them to administrator as they are children & I'd rather not let them
have too much control.

Go into the Control Panel and click on Printers & Faxes. Right click on the
printer and select Properties. From the Advanced tab, set the printer to
print direct instead of using the spooler.

It's a problem on XP Home and 99% of the time ONLY when a Symantec (Norton)
antivirus product is installed.

The printer will print slowly due to not being allowed to use the spooler.
You can either live with this or change to a non-Symantec antivirus like
NOD32.

I tried to do that, however, on the limited accounts the advanced tab acn't
be changed - so I changed it on my account, but when I then logged in to the
limited account, I still was not able to print -I got the document failed to
print error again. Any other ideas or is it that the limited account just
won't let you print?
