XP Home - joining domain

A client purchased a portable with XP Home and wishes to
occasionally connect it to the corporate domain.

Is there a workaround to enable XP Home to join a domain?

XP Home Edition can't join a domain or log into a domain. It can
connect to a domain and access domain resources. For details, please
