xp home is asking for password.

All of sudden XP Home is asking for a password, I've never had one, I'm the
only user.
triede to just hit enter no luck,
tried to start in safe mede no luck
microsoft said start in recovery console and then type setupact.log no luck
setupact.log is not a listed command.

Please Help

What does that mean?

Restart in Safe Mode, log on to Administrator and reset your password.

I would suggest you misunderstand whatever whoever said - where was this
said?

setupact.log is not a listed command.

No, it's a text file. You would read it

No luck means I can't get the computer to start, It keeps coming back "Log
on to Windows" screen, where username is already there, but it's asking for a
password.
Even when i tried to start in safe mode, same scren comes up.
What Should i Googgle for for Linux program
